House of Beasts is a small, one woman design company located in Denmark. It is run by me, Susanne. I am a trained architect with a fairly old soul and a great love for animals and myths. And like most Danes i take great pride in our history of fairy tales and great design.
The purpose of the company is to create wondrous, handcrafted animal figurines, and to share the joy of the craft with people around the world. Each design is a celebration of an animal, whether small or large, mythical or real.
There is something special about objects that has been made by the hands of humans, especially when the object was made with the joy of creativity. I hope that my designs will resonate with you and contribute to making your day a little more magical.
